About Nirupa Netram
Nirupa Netram is an accomplished female immigrant Indian certified global diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) professional, attorney, entrepreneur, mediator, and arbitrator, who was born in Guyana, South America. She has more than two decades of experience in the corporate and other sectors, in the areas of DEI, operations, human resources, program management, risk management, safety, compliance, law, and more. Nirupa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) from Stetson University and Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
Nirupa founded Lotus Solutions LLC to help businesses create diversity and inclusion to ensure a fair and just workplace, through consulting, customized training, and keynote speeches. At Lotus Solutions, she has worked with local, regional, national, and international businesses (11 countries and four continents) to incorporate and sustain DEI into their work environments. Nirupa has experience working with companies to create robust attainable DEI strategies and programs. This includes organizational assessments, listening sessions, mentoring, allyship, and sponsorship programs, internship programs for underrepresented students, defining and measuring progress on DEI, and implementing equitable practices to create a sense of belonging for all.
Nirupa has appeared in multiple publications, including Forbes, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Hiscox, CEO Blog Nation, Up Journey, Gulfshore Business, Gulfshore Life, and more. She also has appeared on podcasts, including Sales POP! Nirupa has written articles for Smooth Sale, Racing Toward Diversity Magazine, Fair Play Talks, and the Lee County Bar Association.
She is a member of the Inclusion Allies Coalition (IAC) and serves on the IAC’s Social Media and Marketing Committee. Nirupa also served on the Strategic Planning Task Force of The Centre for Global Inclusion. The Florida Bar appointed her to serve on their Standing Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Gender Equality Subcommittee. She also serves on the Horizon Council’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee and their Advocacy Subcommittee, Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Equity Committee, and Lee County Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
